Premier Newport Beach Dealership Partners with PGA Champions Tour

Feb. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- NEWPORT BEACH, CA – Jaguar Land Rover Newport Beach will be the Official Automotive Sponsor of the 17th Annual Toshiba Classic. Staged at the Newport Beach Golf Club from March 7-13, the Toshiba Classic has evolved into one of the most successful tournaments in Champions Tour history. Supported by various golfing legends, the tournament draws crowds throughout Southern California.

As the charitable leader on the Champions tour, the Toshiba classic has raised over $13 million in the past 13 years for its lead beneficiary, Hoag Memorial Hospital as well other charities in Orange County. The tour is known for its interactive fan experience, with teaching clinics that provide a hands-on experience with some of the industry’s greatest players.  Past players include Jack Nicklaus, Hale Irwin, Tom Watson, Fred Couples, Bernhard Langer and more.

A returning sponsor of the Toshiba Classic, Jaguar Land Rover Newport Beach opens 2011 with a strong commitment to the local community.  Coming off the heels of last years partnerships and neighborhood involvements, where the dealer was the official sponsor of last year’s Toshiba Classic, The Taste of Newport and several other prominent events, the dealership continues to provide support despite the challenging economic climate. The dealership will provide vehicle demonstrations, various prizes and giveaways, and for the first time, will host the Official After Party of the Toshiba classic.
