England’s first timeshare resort, the Osborne Club, chooses Merlin Software for Vacation Ownership

Feb. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Merlin Software for Vacation Ownership is delighted to announce that the Osborne Club in Torquay, one of the UK’s most established and successful timeshare resorts, has selected Merlin to provide software for its resort operations.

The Osborne Club was established in 1979 as the first English timeshare development. Today, the Club offers 46 one, two and three bedroom apartments located in the 5.5 acres of tranquil gardens of Hesketh Crescent in Torquay. The Club is affiliated to RCI for worldwide exchanges and has been a Gold Crown resort since 1993. In 2010 The Osborne Club became a TATOC accredited resort. The apartments are located throughout the Crescent and each is furnished individually to the highest standards. Guests can enjoy a range of facilities including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an all weather tennis court and the health suite. There are two restaurants within the Crescent itself. While the Osborne is fully sold out, the Club acts as agents on behalf of its owners for the re-sale of apartments and also has an active rental programme.
