Feb. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- The new Sportage is available in three trims: base, LX and EX. The base, LX and EX trims are equipped with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. Under the hood of the SX trim will feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. Also available on the Sportage is front- or all-wheel drive.

For this year, the Sportage comes with an impressive list of interior features! Even features such as a USB port and Bluetooth come standard on base models. High-tech features are also available but only as optional features.

The new KIA Sportage is engineered with a unique feature such as KIA’s UVO information system. The UVO feature is designed to let you use voice commands to control phone as well as stereo functions.

With all seats in use, the new Sportage provides maximum cargo space of 26.1 cubic feet. Total cargo space with the backseats folded up is 54.6 cubic feet.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has awarded the new KIA Sportage as “Top Safety Pick” for 2011! The 2011 Sportage has received the highest possible scores in front, side and rear crash tests along with roof-strength tests.

Standard safety features of the new Sportage include six airbags, anti-lock brakes, and stability and traction control systems. Safety features such as a backup warning system and rearview camera are also available on LX and EX trim but only as a part of the convenience package.
