“We are proud of the fact that this show has been a Lansing tradition for over fifty years,” said Doug Carr, Chief Executive Officer of the GLHB&RA. “We will have nearly 150 exhibitors under one roof to help homeowners plan their building, remodeling or landscaping projects this spring.”
This year’s Show features education sessions to help homeowners learn how to shop more efficiently and the questions to ask when making improvements to their home. 15 sessions are scheduled throughout the weekend on topics, ranging from how to build and remodel green, kitchens, bathrooms, energy upgrades, financing, buying and selling your home, wet basements and more.
Attendees can expect to see every aspect of the remodeling industry at the show, including installers and suppliers of doors, windows, siding, and roofing, as well as builders, remodelers and other suppliers to the home industry—like landscapers.
4,000 to 5,000 people are expected to come through the Show this year. This year’s sponsor, Meridian Plumbing and Heating, is giving away a $5,000 value toward the remodel of a kitchen or a bathroom.
On Saturday morning at 11:00 AM, Home Depot will be hosting a “kids workshop” event.
