WYSE Work Abroad Announces Partnership of the Year Contest

Feb. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- The second annual Partnership of the Year contest is being launched this week by WYSE Work Abroad. The organisation – which is the leading global forum and trade association for work abroad, internship, volunteer, and work and travel programmes - is coming off its first successful contest held in 2010, and is eager to re-create that same success in 2011.  

All WYSE Work Abroad members are invited to share the story of their successful partnership with a non-WYSE Work Abroad member. Connections are normally formed during the Work Experience Travel Market (WETM) or World Youth & Student Travel Conference (WYSTC).

The winners of the first edition of the contest were NE International (China) and WYSE Work Abroad member Coliseum (Ukraine), both of whom were introduced to each other at a networking function during WYSTC Manchester and have since launched a successful internship programme in China for Ukrainians.

Winners of the contest receive a free one-year membership and free publicity (including coverage on the association’s website and social media channels, newsletter, and promotions for future contests).

To participate, members are asked to tell WYSE Work Abroad about the initial meeting with their new partner at WETM or WYSTC, and outline why that particular partnership works so well.
