M-Y Records presents Music Throwdown Battle of the Bands

Feb. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- March 5th, 2011 will forever be dubbed “Music Throwdown,” the BATTLE of the HEAVY METAL TITANS!

With some of the area’s best un-tapped local talent, the battle will be held at Cojones Cantina in Olean, NY from 4-8 pm. Featuring Autumn Awaits, Born for Betrayal, Led by the Blind, Word of a Wise Tale and Skylime, the battle is round one in the series sponsored by PM Studios, M-Y Records, among others. The winning band will produce a 5-song demo plus and a music video with the runner up will win a cash prize.

Bands begin promptly at 4, and will continue until the final round bell has rung, with one winner earning a prize package valued at $1500, and the right to move on in a contest series throughout the summer.

Come to Cojones Cantina, March 5th, 2011 from 4 to 8 pm located on West State Street in Olean, NY, for the “Music Throwdown” to start your spring off right. Tickets are available online presale for $5 or at door for $7, with voting ballots included for the band of the night!
