Yapp opened his first PODS franchise in Ventura, Calif. in 2005, followed by PODS Santa Barbara and PODS San Luis Obispo. In each county, Yapp personally commits to helping local communities by donating time, resources, logistics and services of PODS® containers to countless nonprofit organizations.

Having served on the PODS Enterprises, Inc. sales and marketing committee for the past five years, Yapp was recently elected as chairperson of the committee.  

“I approach this position with a lot of passion and commitment,” Yapp says.  “It is an awesome responsibility to chair a committee that is directly responsible for the creation and implementation of PODS brand-building efforts.”

The committee serves as the voice of more than 159 PODS franchises, working directly with corporate marketing and sales teams to ensure the right programs are created and implemented for growth.
