The interactive workshop, which will take place at Oracle Thames Valley Park, Reading, is designed to take a fresh look at Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and show how moving from an operational focus to a fully-integrated business process can give you absolute control over your business and deliver substantial benefits straight to your bottom line.
“The challenge of converting high-level, strategic plans into operational reality may be as old as the hills, but many organisations still struggle to achieve the kind of joined up thinking necessary for optimal service and product delivery,” says managing partner of Oliver Wight, Andrew Purton.
Oliver Wight will explore the shortcomings of existing S&OP processes and demonstrate what can be achieved through IBP. Delegates will face the challenge of solving real-life problems by working in cross-functional, cross-organisation groups. They will also be given the opportunity to carry out a self-assessment for their own organisations and develop an action plan to implement the right blend of people, process and technology required to achieve a single end-to-end view of their business.
“The difficult economic conditions of the past three years have re-emphasised the importance of pursuing excellent performance. IBP allows organisations to do that by giving them real control over their processes and the ability to predict and respond positively to changing conditions in plenty of time, whatever lies ahead,” concludes Purton.
