Moss & Associates To Renovate Western Beef Supermarket

Feb. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- FORT LAUDERDALE Fla., February 23, 2011 – Moss & Associates, one of Florida’s largest construction management companies, was recently awarded a renovation project for Western Beef Supermarkets for the existing store located at 8030 Pines Blvd. Pembroke Pines, FL.  Work began in December 2010 and will be complete by April 2011.

“The Pembroke Pines store consists of 65,000 square feet of interior remodeling of an existing Albertson's Supermarket that will incorporate upgrading the building systems and interior finishes. Moss was instrumental in assisting Western Beef with designing and planning for a new 3,800 square foot ‘meat cooler’ for all of the specialty meat products, which is a trademark feature in all Western Beef’s stores,” said Vice President Guy Reese of Moss & Associates. “Our extensive experience in this area of construction will ensure that Western Beef will be able to stick to its plan for a grand-opening in the spring.”

In 1976, Western Beef opened its doors to the public, as the first ever warehouse style supermarket in College Point, NY, instantly becoming pioneers in the retail industry. Throughout the eighties, nineties and present, they expanded to 27 stores in New York, New Jersey and now Florida.
