New sales manager joins Winchester hotel

Feb. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Sarah Waddington has now joined the team at the Holiday Inn in Winchester and brings considerable experience to the hotel having worked in the hospitality and hotel sector for over 10 years.

With the hotel approaching its first year of trading, Sarah is now looking forward to consolidating its position as one of the region’s premier hotels and follows the attainment of four-stars from the AA and a rosette for the quality of the food served in the restaurant.

She will now take charge of the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy which includes promoting the facilities to those looking for an ideal venue for a conference or meeting, wedding, place to stay or somewhere to enjoy a fantastic meal.

Sarah will also look at increasing the hotel’s involvement with the local community through sponsorships and initiatives that will hopefully encourage more people to the region for both business and leisure.

Commenting on her new appointment Sarah said: “I’m very excited to have started this new role and am looking forward to the many challenges ahead.

“The first of the ‘new generation’ Holiday Inn hotels, the Winchester venue is like no other in the country and it’s easy to see why the AA rated it so highly.

“And with the restaurant to be the only Holiday Inn in the whole of England and Wales to receive a rosette for its food is again an indication of the hotel’s quality.

“I’ll now be looking to maintain and build its position as one of the premier hotels in the region.”
