A New Way for Videographers to Develop Clients and Increase Income Through Pay Per View Webcasting

The next big thing in media production involves streaming a live Pay Per View webcast for an organization hosting a live event. WebcastingVideo announces a new gateway for videographers that will allow them to charge viewers to watch a video event.

PRLog - Feb. 22, 2011 - As a new income stream for videographers, many organizations are hosting live events, and wish to webcast them.  As a provider of streaming video, videographers can fill the needs of many of these companies as they try to reach a larger audience.  An example may be the filming of a national gymnastics meet.  Consider that many of the participants’ family members would like to see their loved-one perform, but it may not be feasible for an entire extended family to travel hundreds of miles.  This is where videographers come in as their online streaming solution.  As they film the event, they will also be providing live webcast services, and viewers will watch video of the performance or competition online.

So how does it all work?  As a provider of videography services, you’ve already been hired by a company or organization to video an event, competition, or performance.  The client can be offered the option of having the event broadcast as a live webcast.  This is done at no charge to the client.  As the event approaches, the client would advertise, through their custom-made website and their existing mailing and participant lists, that they will be hosting the event as a live webcast.  Through the electronic ticket office on the website, the viewers (subscribers) can purchase eTickets for all or any portion of the event that they choose.  The client and videographer determine how they want the event to be packaged, and set the price for the eTickets.

Purchases for the webcast can be made before, during, or after the event.  The webcasting production will stay on the custom website for a pre-determined period of time after the event, so it can even be accessed after the event has passed.  Both videographer and client earn extra income from the purchases of eTickets, and the live webcast services provided.  Call Jim Kelly today to get more information on how to be a provider of live webcast services.
