World Ranking Boxer-Turned-Portrait-Artist Featured at Sunflower Studios

Feb. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Raleigh, NC.  Your Marketing Rainmaker announces that artist Michael Castronova will be featured at the Sunflower Studios in Wake Forest, NC, on March 11th for the Wake Forest Art Walk.  Castronova’s art will be on display an entire month.

Castronova, a world-ranked boxer in the 1980s keeps his passion alive now by pouring his energy into breathtaking works of art.  His current specialty is a “cut paper” portrait which is a colorful and energetic representation of its subject.  Among his cut paper portraits are The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, a recent world champion boxer, Kelly Pavlik, and our current President, Barack Obama.

In addition to painting, drawing and assembling portrait art, Castronova is a local caricature artist.
