How to get rid of Fluoride in NYC Tap Water

Why is Fluoride being added to the tap water and where does it come from?

Fluoride is a poison, it is an active ingredient in pesticides and rat poison... so why are they adding this harmful chemical to our water? The FDA does not regulate the fluoridation of water.
