Richard Garriott is an award-winning computer game pioneer and adventurer. Most recently, he co-founded Portalarium, a game developer and publisher focused on advancing the state of gameplay in social networking environments. In October of 2008, Richard, the son of American astronaut Owen Garrett, realized a lifelong dream when he travelled aboard the Russian Soyuz TMA-13 spacecraft to the International Space Station and became the first second-generation astronaut. “Richard's story is one of adventure, risk, and reward,” explains Ficken. “His enthusiasm, passion, and entrepreneurial spirit will bring an optimistic, uplifting tone to get our conference started.” All attendees will enjoy outstanding business networking opportunities with executives from across the country.
