PRLog (Press Release) -
Feb. 22, 2011 - The cook-off featured ten professional and ten amateur chefs competing for the title of Best Cajun/Creole Dish. With only two hours to prepare their best dish, Café Ventana’s “Creole Trinity” was a winner. The winning entry included spicy fried chicken and cornmeal waffles with bourbon butter and smoky bacon infused maple syrup, crawfish pie and BBQ shrimp and grits – straight out of the bayou! The winning recipes will be featured in this week’s edition of “Pro’s Pantry” in Feast Magazine – a weekly column written by Chef Lee, who is the Executive Chef at Café Ventana, Chuy Arzola’s, Sanctuaria and the soon-to-be Hendricks BBQ.
