PRLog - Feb. 22, 2011 - ENGLAND, U.K. -- American Outfitters is a tale of family ties, talent and perseverance. Out of the company Action Wear, the three sisters Nathalie, Patricia and Caroline Vandemoortele created the Belgian brand American Outfitters in 1993, and turned it into an established label.
Each using their own skills they generated a genuine success story. Nathalie is handling daily business, Patricia is the creative brain and Caroline takes care of the commercial department.
American Outfitters stands for simple, fashionable clothing, for women and kids. A lot of attention is given to quality and American Outfitters is famous for its creativity and its sense of detail.
American Outfitters is sold in five branded stores in Belgium and multibrand stores across Europe, japan and Russia.
Balloons Childrenswear are one of the first to bring American Outfitters to the UK and additionally expose it to the wider international arena via their online shop.
It's very early days with the initial launch only a few days ago, but Balloons established customer base is already buying into the concept. "It used to take us about three seasons to establish our credentials with a new label, but we're now seeing success at the end of the first season" said Balloons owner Georgina. This seems to be a combination of their growing customer base and trust in the Balloons Childrenswear brand, so when they introduce a new label the consumers have confidence about the offer.
With only one new line added in 2010, this is the second already this year, after Scotch R'Belle, and they're planning another three.
