The awards, which are now in their fifth year, acknowledge successful schools and projects which demonstrate how the dedication of teaching and management staff has helped to create better learning environments for pupils.

Despite the fact that we have already formed strong relationships with schools and colleges all around the country, Eteach hopes to further reinforce these connections throughout the course of 2011.
Here at Eteach we always like to go one step further. As stated before, not only are we hugely proud to be sponsoring the 2011 Education Business Awards, we have created three award categories of our own.
Outstanding Teacher Award for Primary Schools – Eteach has created this award to recognise an individual within the Primary Schools sector whose dedication to teaching has gained recognition in the community and helped to improve the reputation of their school.
Outstanding Teacher Award for Secondary Schools – This award serves the same purpose as the above mentioned except it has been designed to recognise those working in Secondary Schools.
School Recruitment Award – We have created this award to recognise an educational establishment which has invested in its recruitment methods and processes to ensure a timely intake of appropriate teaching and support staff.

Outstanding Progress Award for Primary Schools
Presented to the UK Primary School that has made outstanding progress in the management of its facilities, finances and human resources and can demonstrate an increase in the educational performance of the school.
Outstanding Progress Award for Secondary Schools
Presented to the UK Secondary School that has made outstanding progress in the management of its facilities, finances and human resources and can demonstrate an increase in the educational performance of the school.
Educational Visits Award
Presented to the educational establishment that can demonstrate a commitment to providing students with a range of subject specific educational visits in order to further their learning experience.
Sports Award
Awarded to the educational establishment in the UK that can demonstrate an outstanding commitment to developing the sporting skills of its students through the provision of first class facilities and coaching programmes.
SEN Provision Award
Presented to the UK SEN Establishment that can demonstrate an increase in the quality of care and education services provided to students with Special Educational Needs.
School Security Award
Recognising the UK school that has made outstanding efforts to increase security through a combination of increased awareness in staff and pupils and the procurement and installation of additional security measures such as CCTV, fencing, manned guarding etc.
School Catering Award
Presented to educational establishment in the UK that can demonstrate a commitment to healthy eating and value for money through the provision of a first class catering service available to all students.
Environmental Building Award
Awarded to the school building project that can demonstrate a benefit to both the learning and local environment through its design.
School Building Award
Presented to the establishment that has provided what is judged to be the most technically advanced building constructed for the purpose of a teaching present and future pupils.
ICT Facility Award
Awarded to the educational establishment in the UK that has made outstanding progress in the provision of a first class environment for the teaching of ICT and related subjects.
Music Award
Presented to the educational establishment that can demonstrate a commitment to improving the quality of musical learning through the provision of a first class teaching environment.
Science Award
Awarded to the educational establishment that has excelled in the provision of a first class environment for teaching science subjects including biology, chemistry and physics.
ICT Innovation Award
Awarded to the educational establishment that can demonstrate the most innovative use of ICT in order to further the learning experience of pupils and help improve results in curriculum based subjects.
Art & Craft Award
Presented to the educational establishment that can provide first class learning environment and modern, flexible facilities for students of art & craft.
Outstanding Academy Award
Awarded to the specialist academy that can demonstrate outstanding progress both in its specialism’s and in general education.
Academy Partnership Award
Presented to the established specialist academy that can demonstrate benefits to the community through a partnership with an existing establishment (primary school, secondary school, university.
Academy Development Award
This award recognises recently completed academy projects that have demonstrated sound project management and procurement skills in order to complete development on time and to budget.
There are two further awards which are being added to the programme. These are the Inclusive Education Award and The Educational Supplier of the Year Award. More details about these awards will be found online very soon once the criteria has been finalised.
