Fun Dog Show is Alexandria Tradition

March 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Barkley Square is once again presenting this annual Alexandria tradition conveniently located at Market Square (on the corner of N. Fairfax and King St.). This Fun Dog Show is sure to turn heads! The event is scheduled for March 5th, with registration starting at 10:30 a.m., and the actual event lasting from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Kristina Robertson, owner of Barkley Square, said, “As far as our events are concerned, the Fun Dog Show is a favorite every year. Everyone from Barkley Square gets involved and joins in on the fun. The Fun Dog Show, along with the Ballyshaner’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a great way to spend a Saturday morning!”

This year’s Show will mark the premier of the D.O.G. Lounge, a V.I.P. lounge just for the dogs.  Doggie beer, water and treats will be available for the dogs and water for their humans.

Some of the top businesses in the Alexandria area will be present at Market Square: Izalia Spa, Dogtopia of Alexandria, NovaDog Magazine, Aunt Sasha’s Barked Goods, A Dog’s Day Out, Kettler Management, Fidojournalism, and Burke & Herbert Bank.  St. Elmo’s Coffee and Artfully Chocolate will be offering coffee and hot cocoa to visitors.
