By: AdCommunal

Feb. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- On Feb 2nd 2011 Neil Raj, looking for potential investors, appeared on Business News Network's program The Pitch. Neil received three solid yeses from the panel of capitalists: Leslie Roberts  (President and founder of the Goforth institute), John Varghese  (CEO of Venturelink Funds) and Vince Mazza (Managing Partner at Hallbrook Capital).  Neil impressed the Panel in a brief 90 seconds with his industry know-how, AdCommunal/AdCanadian's proven results and it's future potential in the mobile market.

7 Rules Neil used to create his Business Pitch

Rule 1       Give a clear brief description of your business.
Rule 2      Show the potential of your business – do you have stats?
Rule 3      Show how your business is already successful.
Rule 4      Who are your consumers, and how do they benefit?
Rule 5      Use few industry terms that the average person doesn't know, explain them clearly.
Rule 6      How are you going to use investment dollars to expand your business?
Rule 7      Know exactly how much investment you require, make it reasonable!

How Neil used these rules in his Pitch to the Venture Capitalists

(Rule 1) AdCanadian is a performance based Ad network catering to the Canadian market, we also have AdCommunal catering to our US and international markets and we've got our new ready set to launch Ad Mobix for the mobile market. Now you know when you go into a website and you see the banner ads on there, what we do is we work with advertisers and we work with websites and using our proprietary technology take those advertisements and put them on the websites. (Rule 2) Now the online Ad market is growing at a rate of 14 percent, in fact last year it hit 25 billion dollars and actually surpassed print ads spent.  It's set to grow up to 40 billion dollars in 2014.  The mobile market is another huge vertical that we are looking at, which is actually set to grow at a pace of 150 percent. (Rule 3) We've been in business for three years now and year over year we've grown 100 percent.

(Rule 4) The reasons advertisers come to us is because traditionally advertising online is sold on what is referred  to as (Rule 5) CPM or CPC metric where advertisers are charged per clicks or per thousand impressions.  What we do is something called cost per acquisition where the advertiser stipulates the action that they require whether it's entering an email address, completing a form, downloading an application, watching a video, anything of that sort and only when that action occurs do we charge the advertiser.

(Rule 6) What we are looking at doing at this next stage in the game is to take that model, that performance based model onto mobile, because everybody has a smart phone and the smart phone is increasing so rapidly that what we want to do is take performance based advertising into mobile.

(Rule 7) At this point we are looking for $500,000 to grow out the mobile vertical.
