New York City's Most Loved Falafel Shop Goes Mobile

Feb. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Taïm Mobile – the much anticipated truck version of Taïm, the West Village falafel and smoothie shop – brings award-winning chef Einat Admony's renowned falafel, as well as Taïm's fresh fruit smoothie bar to the streets of New York City.

The highlight of the Taïm Mobile menu is the classic falafel – cited as the  Best Falafel Sandwich in New York by Serious Eats in 2010. Inside the scrumptious sandwich you'll find several crunchy, parsley and cilantro-packed falafel balls, hummus, tomato and cucumber salad, pickled cabbage, tahini sauce...all wrapped in a soft, toasted pita. The platter version throws in a quinoa salad with chickpeas, dried cranberries, lemon and herbs, and more of Taïm's signature Israeli salad.

Other favorites on the menu include the seasoned fries with saffron aioli dipping sauce, and a variety of smoothies able tot wow the most finicky of liquid nutrition enthusiasts. The date-lime-banana smoothie, with its silky texture, chewy date chunks and invigorating citric aroma, will transport your taste buds to the gates of Middle East. Also not to be missed are Taïm Mobile's daily falafel specials, as well as the sabich (a deep-fried eggplant and boiled egg sandwich).
