Feb. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Norma Quintero, Founding Chairman of the Vizcaya Preservation Luncheon, Honorary Chairman Swanee DiMare and Co-Chairmen Nancy Batchelor and Marysol Patton are busily preparing for the 3rd Annual Vizcaya Preservation Luncheon Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami.  The 2011 Presenting Sponsor for the event is Valentino.  Proceeds from the event will support The Vizcayans’ mission to preserve, protect and promote Vizcaya and its historic gardens.

The Vizcaya Preservation Luncheon event, inspired by the extremely successful Central Park Conservancy Luncheon held each spring to benefit New York’s Central Park, has become one of the most admired philanthropic luncheons in South Florida, due to the efforts of the Founders of the event.  “I am proud to work with a group of committed volunteers made up of visionaries who support the Vizcaya Preservation Luncheon.   It’s not just a social luncheon for Miami luminaries – it is an opportunity to experience intimately one of the world’s greatest formal gardens. Our efforts have spread our message throughout South Florida and, I am proud to say, even the most noted philanthropists from Palm Beach, such as Renée Morrison are now supporting our cause,” says Norma Quintero.

A Black River Caviar reception beginning at 11:00 a.m. will welcome guests before they embark on an exclusive experience of Vizcaya’s Italianate gardens.  The al-fresco luncheon, beginning at 12:30 p.m., will include a fashion show featuring Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2011 Collection.  Other highlights include the following:  a raffle drawing for a one-week stay in a private guest house at the La Foce in southeast Tuscany (see www.lafoce.com), a live auction for a $5,000 Shopping Spree and a private luncheon for 10-12 ladies catered by Thierry’s Catering at the Valentino Boutique at the Bal Harbour Shops (see www.valentino.com).

Event sponsors and supporters of the 3rd Annual Vizcaya Preservation Luncheon include: Black River Caviar, Don Pepin Cigars, Karla Conceptual Design, La Foce, Michael’s Design, Rafi Productions, Thierry’s Catering, USA Bouquets, and Valentino USA.
