Press Looks To Summer As Peacocks Shines In Print Media

It’s already looking - stylewise at least – lie we’re in for a hot summer. Fashion weekly Look magazine this week devotes half a page to the Peacocks clothes chain’s summer fashion items including a denim playsuit, floral jumpsuit, floral dress and fringed bag.

One of Peacocks’ specialities is designing clothes for customers who like to get the celebrity look for less, and this week, Reveal magazine shows readers how to get the preppy look featuring a straw trilby from the Peacocks range. Meanwhile, More magazine’s new issue advises readers on how to achieve Karen Gillan’s look including Peacocks black tights.  Now magazine this week selects a denim jacket for assembling Nicole Richie’s effortlessly chic look.

Over at Woman magazine this week, a feature highlighting the new on trend  and must have denim dress chooses items to complement it, and selects a classic white shirt from Peacocks. More magazine shows Peacocks clothes throughout its new issue, with six items in one shoot including five pairs of shoes, a belt and a dress – modelled to perfection.

The story of the flat shoe outselling the heel continues to make its footprint across the print media this week, with the story appearing in regional titles The Express and Star and Daily Post this week.

To round off a great media report, Peacocks is featured in trade paper Women’s Wear Buyer, with an article on Daisy Lowe’s forthcoming range of swimwear for Peacocks: “Daisy Lowe, the 21 year old model and daughter of designer Pearl Lowe, has been signed up to help create a swimwear collection for value fashion retailer Peacocks”. The range promises to create a continuing buzz in the media right up to its release in a few weeks’ time!
