Follow on Google News | Modelling The Best Dress On The Red Carpet - BAFTA's 2011From Hollywood A-listers to British acting stars who dressed to impress at this year’s BAFTA award ceremony? Details of all the glamour, fashion and trends.
By: Charlie Frost Black is often the colour of choice at the BAFTA’s for the Hollywood A-listers to our own British acting stars trying to make an impression – maybe our beautiful British weather has some impact on the colour scheme! Felicity Jones modelled a petite black gown form Chanel in line with the current the ballerina trend from the movie Black Swan, perfect for the young British actresses frame. Whilst entertainment presenter Claudia Winkleman shopped in Topshop for her black number. Even Helena Bonham Carter opted for the classy black dress and shoes that matched over her usual eccentric and wacky style. Dresses that impressed include the Harry Potter star Emma Watson. To match the actress’s new pretty elfin haircut, Emma was modelling a divine chiffon, one-shoulder, super elegant, nude gown by Valentio. With an over the top neckline Emma’s dress worked perfectly with her hairstyle. Red is normally avoided at the prestigious red carpet events however, Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding rocked up modelling a scarlet Georges Chakra dress. Sarah certainly didn’t disappear into the carpet with a thigh-high split which could almost distract from her smoky eyes and bright red lippy. In actual fact, dazzling red lippy had to be one of the biggest trends amongst the celebs. From those who stood out to those who modelled elegant grown-up frocks the overall feeling from the 2011 BAFTA’s is one of glamour. Our British ladies have done us proud entertaining us with their lavish dresses trying to combat these damp February evenings. # # # Talent Management is a nationwide talent agency helping clients find the talent they need, every day.
