Dover Nurse Practitioner completes mission to Sierra Leone.

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 16, 2011 - Dover, NH - Diane Knight, APRN Gynecologic Nurse Practitioner with Gynecology and Infertility Associates in Dover, NH, recently returned from a medical mission to Sierra Leone in West Africa. She was invited along with five other healthcare providers by Women for Women of Sierra Leone,a group that offers vital healthcare services to women during the two-week missions, which occur twice a year.  

During their stay, they visited the remote village of Yele where they attended to the health needs of girls and women who have been suffering under sexual slavery. Most patients (95%) were seeing a healthcare provider for the very first time and many had walked miles to receive care.
