Award Winners and New Leadership Recognized at Inaugural Event

Professionalism, volunteerism and dedication are words to describe all three award winners who were honored at the Inaugural Celebration, Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Intercontinental Hotel Rooftop Ballroom on the Country Club Plaza, Thursday, January 6, 2011.  The award winners were:

Builders Hall of Fame: Bruce Rieke, B.L. Rieke Custom Homes

Fred J. Geier Associate of the Year: Tommy Angotti, Factory Direct Appliances

Bob Bollier Award: Cherise Sedlock, Sedlock Commercial Real Estate

Each award gives recognition for outstanding performance in the housing industry and service to the Home Builders Association.  Sedlock was recognized for her proven commitment and leadership in the Sales and Marketing Council.  Angotti was recognized for leadership in recruiting new members, sponsoring events and programs, and providing support to grassroots efforts.  And the Builder Hall of Fame Award to Rieke recognized his lifetime of contributions to the association, the industry and the community.

In addition, the 2011 leadership shared the spotlight as Travis Graham, the HBA’s 66th President, introduced the following members who will serve on the HBA Board of Directors Executive Committee.
