Models Direct: Top Model Jourdan Dunn Still Gets “Really Nervous” When Catwalk Modelling

Feb. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Last month, we told you that one of Model Direct’s favourite young British models, Jourdan Dunn, was officially back on the campaign scene having become a new mother back in December 2009.

Well, now she’s the current face of Burberry, and is also back on the catwalk scene – Dunn closed Jason Wu's fall collection last week looking as stunning as ever in a strapless red gown.

Dunn may seem like a superwoman we couldn’t possibly live up to, but we at Models Direct (http://www.modelsdirect.com) were reassured when we read about the supermodel still having pre-show jitters, despite having modelled on the catwalk since the autumn 2007 season.

After Jason Wu's show, Dunn said: "I was excited to close the show in such a beautiful gown, but I was also really nervous because the runway was [made out of] glass. I was just praying that I wouldn't slip.

“Backstage is a little chaotic. You're pulled in a million directions by hair and make-up, backstage photographers, producers, and so on. The lace mask was fairly simple, though. They did it right before we went out on the runway. Quick and beautiful!"
