Surrey Orthodontics Provider Sponsors Tooth Fairy Gala

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 15, 2011 - Surrey, BC - Surrey invisible braces provider Dr. Aly Kanani and his family are sponsors of the 11th Annual Tooth Fairy Gala in Vancouver, BC. The Gala is thrown by the British Columbia Dental Association and its proceeds benefit Save a Smile.

Explains Kanani, a Surrey Invisalign expert, "A community-based oral health nonprofit, Save a Smile provides dental care to low-income children who do not have public or private dental plan coverage." Established in 1991 by the British Columbia Dental Association, the charity has obtained dental care for 1,250 children.
"It's an extremely worthwhile charity," explains Kanani, a Surrey orthodontics provider (http://www.guildfordorthodontics.com/). "I'm very happy I have an opportunity to support it."

The Gala will take place March 12 in the Vancouver Convention Centre's ballroom.

The event caps the annual Pacific Dental Conference and has an awards ceremony that honors the accomplishments of dentists in the province and recognizes fundraising initiatives which support oral health in BC. The Gala starts with a champagne toast, followed by a four course meal. It includes dancing, a silent auction, and a cake auction - where designer cakes are presented by the "Tooth Fairy."
