California Scooter Company Adds Three New Dealers

Feb. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- California Scooter Company announced the addition of three new dealers carrying the CSC line of small motorcycles this week.  The new dealers are:

1.   Mitchell’s Harley-Davidson in Modesto, California (500 North Carpenter Road, Modesto, California 95351, 209 522 1061, www.mitchellsmodestohd.com).  Mitchell’s Harley-Davidson has been family owned and operated since 1938.  The dealership includes a restaurant that has become a popular motorcycle destination in the Modesto area.

2.  Jamestown Harley-Davidson in Jamestown, California (18275 Highway 108, Jamestown, California 95327, 209 984 4888, www.jamestownhd.com).  Jamestown offers the look and feel of California's famous gold rush era.  In conjunction with the Jamestown dealership, California Scooter Company plans to organize tours throughout this area to Yosemite, Sonora, the northern Sierra Nevada mountains' five passes, and other scenic locations for buyers of its iconic small motorcycles.

3.  Barger’s Allsports in Waco, Texas (3520 Interstate 35 South, Waco, Texas, 76707, 254 662 1717, www.bargersallsports.net).   Barger’s is also a family owned and operated business, with current lines including Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Polaris, Can-Am, and Sea Doo.  Barger’s has been in business for 21 years.

“We’re very excited about these three new dealerships taking on the California Scooter Line,” said Steve Seidner, California Scooter Company President and CEO.   “Texas and the surrounding states are our biggest sales areas, and having a dealer centrally located in Texas is a winning arrangement for Bargers, the California Scooter Company, and our riders.  We are also very pleased that the Mitchell family has added California Scooter to it dealerships in Modesto and Jamestown.   These have been great areas for us and we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”

Seidner said that California Scooter is actively expanding its dealer network, and select territories are still available.  California Scooter will be in Booth 2033 at the Indianapolis Dealer Expo next week.

California Scooters are based on the Mustang motorcycles manufactured from 1947 to 1962.  The iconic California Scooter Company motorcycles are completely street legal, CARB and EPA approved, and offer fuel economy in excess of 90 miles per gallon.
