Indie Music to Raise Social Conscience. Members Ascend from Award-Winning Supporters.

Feb. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Says Jana, “The  lyrical content and the focus of the band is rooted in social issues and politics - not the usual rock n' roll fare. Songs  deal with the public perception of politics, realizing that the middle and lower classes are targeted by politicians and the pharmaceutical industry; the growing economic separation between the haves and have-nots; and making socially conscious choices. “

Jana recruited some notable musicians to perform these strong messages: Bassist, Jon McCartan is of  the Emmy-winning Gordon Stone Band. Joe Chapman is the new drummer in light of an injured  Aaron Ritchie, who is featured on the album.

 The CD is an inclusive effort drawing on the talents of musicians from all over the US including Minneapolis, Phoenix, Burlington, Erie, and Pittsburgh.

Dragonfly Physics’ CD release date is set for April 11.
