Indoor Air Expo to Debut Innovative UV and Molecular Filtration Technologies

Feb. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- UltraViolet Devices, Inc. (UVDI), a leading provider of ultraviolet (UV) and molecular filtration technologies for the indoor air quality (IAQ) market, will be exhibiting at the 2011 Indoor Air Expo in San Antonio, Texas this February 15th – 17th.  The expo is associated with the Indoor Air Quality Association’s (IAQA) 14th annual conference held in conjunction with the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) who are celebrating their 43rd annual conference.  

In addition to the UVDI exhibit, Dr. Ashish Mathur, Director of Technology for UVDI, will be one of the distinguished speakers at the conference.  Dr. Mathur’s presentation is titled “Ozone – the good, the bad and the ugly” and will discuss the merits and demerits of ozone and its influence on our daily lives and well being. Various technologies used to generate ozone, as well as technologies that are employed to destroy ozone, will be discussed. Special emphasis will be given to the state of the art technologies such as ultraviolet radiation (UV) and granular activated carbon filters that are being used to remove ozone and other hazardous air pollutants.

The event is the principal industry conference for the nation’s largest specialized association of indoor air quality professionals dealing with mold and other indoor airborne contaminants. UVDI is pleased to be exhibiting and presenting their innovative UV technologies that:
