Your Lucky Deals Launches And Announces Charity Facebook Contest Winners

Feb. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- Denver, Colo.— Your Lucky Deals, LLC announces the Feb. 15 launch of its unique daily deal and city guide website. Your Lucky Deals offers discounts to restaurants, spas, special activities, fitness classes, and other exciting things in the Denver area, while also supporting Colorado charities chosen by subscribers.

Your Lucky Deals offers deals at discounts of 40 to 90 percent. In the first months, deals will be available to local dining hot spots, pet services, kids’ activities, photography sessions, and more. During checkout, 10 percent of the transaction’s proceeds will be donated to the charity of the customers’ choice.

Ryan Smith and Dana Morgan, siblings and business partners, wanted to start a company in their hometown of Denver that would have a positive impact on the community. “We have a strong passion for volunteer work and giving back to our community,” says Morgan, VP of Marketing for Your Lucky Deals.

To identify Denver’s four favorite charities, a recent Facebook contest gave subscribers the opportunity to vote for which organizations would receive 10 percent of Your Lucky Deals’ proceeds in 2011. The winning charities are MaxFund (No-kill Animal Adoption Center and Wellness Clinic), Safe House (Serves victims of domestic violence), and Denver Rescue Mission (Provides shelter, food, clothing, education, teaching, and work discipline.) Your Lucky Deals also chose one of their own favorite charities, Boulder-based Educate! (which empowers the next generation of socially responsible leaders in Africa).
