IEI Launches Full-size SBC with Intel® Atom™ processor D425/D525 and DDR3 support

Feb. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), the global industrial PC innovator, released the WSB-PV-D4251/D5251. The WSB-PV-D4251/D5251 is a full-size Single Board Computer (SBC) with Intel® Atom™ D425/D525 processor. The Intel® Atom™ D425/D525 processor series integrates a graphics processing unit and a memory controller supporting 800 MHz DDR3 SO-DIMMs. Its increased processor speed of 1.8 GHz has no bump in power consumption and is specifically designed for affordable, entry level computing. Key features of the WSB-PV-D4251/D5251 include dual PCIe Ethernet, ASF 2.0, UEFI BIOS architecture and over 2.2 TB HDD storage on a 64-bit operating system.

The WSB-PV-D4251/D5251 SBC in PICMG 1.0 form factor with Intel® Atom™ D425/D525 processor features dual independent display, which is provided through a VGA port and an 18-bit single-channel LVDS interface. The WSB-PV-D4251/D5251 comes with complete I/O options including four RS-232 serial ports, three SATA 3Gb/s ports, one CF Type II card slot and seven USB 2.0 ports.

All IEI dual-core Intel® Atom™ D525 SBCs include IEI’s unique One Key Recovery software solution. One Key Recovery eliminates the frustration of system recovery after unexpected system failure by allowing users to easily create full system backup on demand and system restoration to a previously made backup with just a single click.
