February 9, 2011 – Irvine, Calif., – Fisker of Orange County confirms, Universal Technical Institute, Inc. and Fisker Automotive have announced plans to provide technical training to Fisker dealership personnel at the UTI campus in Rancho Cucamonga in California.
UTI will train approximately 100 technicians from Fisker's U.S. Dealers in spring 2011.
”We’re excited to see Fisker dealerships preparing for the grand release of the Karma. UTI will ensure our technicians have knowledge required to answer all the questions potential clients can have,” said Steve Rudkin, General Manager of Fisker of Orange County.
UTI will train Fisker technicians in several areas, including hybrid systems, routine maintenance, chassis, coachwork, roadside recovery, engine management, and electrical systems.
