Former Medicare Administrator Joins Emerson Consultants, Inc. as Firm's Senior Medical Director

Baer, MD, to the position of Senior Medical Director.  In his position, Dr. Baer will provide expertise to ensure Emerson’s clients secure appropriate coverage and payment for their technology in today’s ever-changing healthcare environment.

Dr. Baer most recently held the position of Lead Medical Director for National Government Services, Inc. the nation’s largest Medicare contractor.  In his role at NGS, he developed local medical guidelines and policies for new procedures, services, devices, and technologies.
