Ziker Cleaners Princess for a Night Event

Eighth Annual Princess for a Night Event
Community dress collection held February 14th through March 19th

South Bend, IN (February 9, 2011) Ziker Cleaners & Shirt Laundry and the Junior League of South Bend, Inc. invite donations of lightly used formal and semi-formal dress donations to help local high school girls attending the upcoming Princess for a Night event. In its eighth year, the event provides area high school girls the opportunity to obtain new and gently used prom dresses. Each attendee is given her selected dress free of charge.
Last year, the event helped more than 700 girls from 50 area high schools.
In order for another successful event, the Junior League and Ziker Cleaners are looking to the community for donations.  Dress donations will be accepted at all eight (8) Ziker Cleaners locations in South Bend, Mishawaka, Granger and Elkhart February 14th through March 19th.

“As in years past, there is a desperate need of contemporary dresses in both smaller and larger sizes,” said Jennifer Probst, Director of Retail Sales at Ziker Cleaners. “Our goal is to provide every attendee with a dress and give them the opportunity to have truly memorable prom night.”

This years Princess for a Night Event to be held on Saturday, March 26th from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the College Football Hall of Fame. Girls are asked to bring their student ID to this free event. The dress selection is based on first-come first serve basis. All attendees are asked to arrive by 11:30 pm at the latest, for entrance to the event.
