Feb. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- William Torphy Fine Arts is pleased to present the luminous oil paintings of Sausalito-based artist Kay Carlson.  On the coast near her longtime studio she explores the times of day when the waves, clouds and atmosphere creates visual drama. In the fields of Tuscany, the wine country of Napa- Sonoma, and northern California. Kay works en plein air; her passion is to capture how light transforms color and the unique times of a season.
