Z’Tejas Spices Up Mobile Loaves and Fishes Mobile Truck Program with Donated Cuisine and Cash

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 8, 2011 - Z’Tejas, known for its fresh, flavorful and innovative menu, today announced a check presentation to Mobile Loaves and Fishes (MLF) to assist the non-profit organization’s outreach mission of providing food and clothing to the homeless and indigent working poor.      
Z’Tejas recently volunteered to cook and help deliver food to the Austin area homeless population using the MLF organization’s well known shiny white and silver mobile catering trucks.  In addition to donating food and staff volunteers for deliveries, Z’Tejas presented MLF with a $1500 check donation.
“We were excited to partner with Mobile Loaves and Fishes again this year by volunteering our time preparing and delivering food, as well as making a cash donation to help their cause,” said Nick Rotas, Regional General Manager of Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill.  “While riding on the trucks we saw first-hand what a big difference Mobile Loaves and Fishes makes in the lives of the Austin homeless community. We look forward to working with this great organization for many years to come,” said Rotas.
