FAIRCHILD chosen to perform at this year's CMF

Feb. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- TORONTO - Brothers, Jeff Smith, Phill Smith, Donny Smith and David Smith, known as the Toronto based rock band, FAIRCHILD, are set to hit the stage March 12th at 10:00pm at Cherry Cola’s Rock N’ Rolla Cabaret & Lounge. The venue is known as a favourite after show spot to a number of international stars while visiting the city.

2009 saw the release of, FAIRCHILD’S debut independent self titled release and quickly earned them a solid following in the Toronto club scene. Their debut single, Dare To Believe, received airplay across the country charting on MaxTrax Rock and Galaxie Rock, then on Top 40 (CHR) and Hot AC formats.

FAIRCHILD, is the first rock band to have gone five full nights undefeated on Toronto’s Z103.5 Head2Head, beating out such international buzz stars as Jamie Fox/ T-Pain, Mariah Carey, The Ting Tings, Cascada and others. As a result of going undefeated at Toronto’s Z103.5, FAIRCHILD was the first rock band to officially be inducted into the Z103.5’s hall of fame!
