Instant feedback tool lets eBay sellers and Webmasters gain insight into buyers' wants and needs.

Feb. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- CHICO, Calif. — Auctiva, a leading provider of e-commerce solutions, announces the integration of FeedbackForms into its software, making the new feature available to Auctiva users of any subscription level, even Free Tools plan members.

This integration means that eBay sellers who use Auctiva can opt to automatically include the FeedbackForms widget in every eBay listing they launch. By adding this instant feedback device to their listings, sellers will be able to hear directly from potential buyers about issues related to a given listing, such as whether a description is incomplete or an image is broken.

Not only can FeedbackForms be used in eBay listings, but it may also be added to online stores, blogs, social media pages or just about any Web site by opening an account directly on FeedbackForms.com.

Auctiva developed the feedback tool to let online sellers gain insight into what's working and what's not from the people who matter most—customers. When the FeedbackForms widget is enabled, visitors can leave comments by clicking the "Leave Feedback" icon displayed on the page. A feedback form will open directly on the page, so visitors won't be forced to navigate away from the site or listing.

Auctiva first introduced FeedbackForms.com last November in response to sellers' growing desire to learn more visitors to their listings that do not convert to buyers. With direct feedback from their target audience, sellers can make changes to improve performance and reach their goals, whether their aim is to increase conversion rates, improve customer satisfaction and loyalty, or simply enhance the overall visitor experience.

Being the largest eBay Certified Provider, Auctiva's integration of FeedbackForms into its eBay tool suite was a natural step, notes David Bierbaum, FeedbackForms' lead developer. All Auctiva users have been provided with a free FeedbackForms account.

"I think users of FeedbackForms will be surprised to learn what their visitors have to say," says Bierbaum, FeedbackForms' lead developer. "I know we were surprised when we added FeedbackForms to Auctiva's sites. Based on the feedback we received, we ended up making changes that we probably would never have thought of otherwise."

To begin adding FeedbackForms to eBay listings, Auctiva users should activate their FeedbackForms accounts by signing in through the link on their Auctiva Account Dashboards and then enable FeedbackForms in their Auctiva account preferences. Auctiva users who have an existing FeedbackForms account may associate it with their Auctiva account, if they wish, using the same link. Once enabled, the FeedbackForms widget will be automatically appended to all of the user's eBay listings. Users may disable the feature by updating their account preferences.

The feedback form's appearance is fully customizable and users determine what questions to include, ensuring they get the type of insight they seek.

Three FeedbackForms plans are available: The Basic Plan, which is free, allows users to add a feedback form to one site, or an unlimited number of eBay listings. The Pro Plan, at $9.95/month, supports up to four sites. The Unlimited Plan is $199.95/year, and allows users to add forms to as many sites as they wish.

"Regardless of the plan, the knowledge that sellers gain from the use of FeedbackForms will be invaluable," says Robert Green, Auctiva's communications manager. "As we like to say, FeedbackForms helps eBay sellers and Web site owners optimize their performance with real feedback from the people who really matter: their visitors, users and buyers."

As part of Auctiva's Free Tools suite, FeedbackForms joins other popular, free Auctiva products including the Auctiva Scrolling Gallery, Auctiva Product Sourcing by AliExpress, BuyShield Warranties, Auto-Feedback, automated e-mails, Auctiva Education and more.

Alternatively, eBay sellers who use Auctiva may automatically add the FeedbackForms widget to their eBay listings by:
