24 Hour Alcohol Delivery! Is alcohol delivery actually a good idea?

24 hour alcohol licenses have opened a new industry, we check out the whole alcohol delivery concept!

In recent years local government have decided to relax laws on alcohol by allowing alcohol to be served at anytime of day - so long as you hold a license. Not exactly new news, however, the concept of alcohol delivery is. So it a modern world we have a wide variety of different delivery companies, pizza, kebabs to name a few - but 24 hour alcohol delivery, well, it was something of a novelty to me - one I was keen to try!

I invited a few friends over to my place, to their surprise I asked them not to bring any drink with them. They arrived shortly after 9pm and it wasnt long until I was asked, 'where are the beers John?' I quickly briefed everyone as to why I had told them not to bring any alcohol and why my fridge was shockingly empty; not just on the beer front either!

We all moved into the lounge, I pulled out my laptop and searched for alcohol delivery in google. After a big debate we concluded to use a firm called Booze Up http://www.booze-up.com simply because their site looked the best, they promised delivery in approximately 30 minutes and their menu was quite comprehensive - for some reason Dave wanted to order Disaronno and Sambuca, it was looking like a heavy night!

Well 30 minutes turned out to be 25 minutes, the coke and beers both arrived chilled and wow, did I have a sore head the next day!
