Feb. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Two engine choices are available for the all new Toyota Sequoia: a base 4.6-liter iForce V-8 engine with 310-horsepower and a 381-horsepower, 5.7-liter V-8 with 401 pounds-feet of torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission as well as a four-wheel-independent suspension. An air suspension system with load-leveling is optional.  When properly equipped, the Sequoia can tow up to 10,000 pounds.

Interior features of the new Sequoia include a choice between cloth or leather-trimmed front buckets seats with power, an adjustable lumbar control with a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, an optional seven-passenger perforated leather-trimmed heated and ventilated front bucket seats, three-zone climate control, high solar-energy absorbing tinted glass, and a power tilt/slide moonroof with sunshade.

Features like a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio/climate controls and Bluetooth connectivity are available on both the Limited and Platinum trims. Standard features include a CD player with integrated XM Satellite Radio, auxiliary input/USB port, and eight speakers. Standard in the Platinum trim but optional on the Limited come with features such as a DVD navigation system with seven-inch screen, JBL sound system with 14 speakers, XM NavTraffic, four-disc CD changer, and a backup monitor.

For safety purposes, the new 2011 Toyota Sequoia offers eight standard airbags including driver and front passenger seat-mounted side airbags, all-row roll-sensing side curtain airbags, and driver/passenger knee airbags. Other safety features come with antilock brakes with brake assist and electronic brake-force distribution, an electronic stability system with traction control, and front and rear parking sensors are optional.
