Is it possible create new Affiliate Publisher web site with good traffic

You can set this up literally overnight and have commissions flooding your account the very next day" with no own web site, using Slide shares and Docstock for publishing .  We spend our last money for his book and start exactly how He wrote on this book and after couple weeks, 12 hours a day work, still - No income. The UK guy made money on selling his book, just, but something I learned, better way is own web site with good Affiliate Networks. We choose for CJ and for Google affiliate with many interesting products connected to our idea make web site for http://www.familyandhouse.com .
We're start building Shopping online store at our one of two years old websites with Google rank "0". We put new contents with products for Family, House, Friends and Pets, so our customer when they need some remodeling of bathroom can used our web site to choose accessories from many producers, Pets owners can buy cheaper meds, pets food ,find gift ideas for Valentines day, modern furniture, toys for children, beauty products, books or almost everything for Home and Garden . We used marketing practices to present our web site on Face Book, Twitter, LinkedIn, Blogs and Word Press then and we got fist sale. Our traffic was around 30 people a day but not from Google search.
When we're launch this old-new website what happen : Google did not index our new pages. On Google search  we're still see two years old pages already deleted from our website, but new ones, even if we're start with Ad words. Nothing happen, so we're contact Google support, they told us, index of new pages  will be take some time, from 3 months to six months. I was in the corner. What now?
 I was thinking  if Google ignoring new content at old domain, what Google will do with new domain. We ordered new domain "Family and House" for our Shopping online store, we're build new website with all suggestion from marketing expert like Michelle MacPhearson and many others, validated all pages with W3C, we're made good description not to short not to long and huge search for right keywords and titles with no big competition. We're start new account with Google analytic, Ad words, Ad Sense, we did everything what we can do that with Google's suggestions, then we're launch our new website Family and House a two week ago. We got indexed in 24 hours. Two of our pages are at first  Google search page, but no bigger traffic.
 So we go back to Ad words again to spend some money. After 3 days we're spend $20.- a day with average clicks 10 a day with Impressions 26,167 .We will see if this will help. So again, where get some good traffic, I am start searching on Google for this question. I found some Link Referral website, I did twice exactly what they asking for if I want get 20-50 people a day on my web site. What I got is not worth to spends time on this web site, five visitors a day for One hour my time a day with searching at 30 web sites, 5 review and One post on the forum. Others companies what I found are offering 1000 quality visitors a month for $50.- up to $ 150.-. Is it really working or just another rip off ? With to many spammers on internet business like I found when I registered at One company and what I get was hundreds  phone calls and emails. They selling your address and phone numbers but everybody on their web site showing how they hate SPAM.
Honest is not a First policy at online business. Bad for Us , Worst for our children. Online business is very risky for customers, many are RIP OFF , like monthly charges $ 9.95 from some "Funny company with middle Asia accent" (how they get my credit card number (First premier bank) if I don't used this credit card, question for $100.-). Buy something with electronic check from your checking account, don't do that, many bank don't care if your balance is "LOW" they going pay One check with same check number 8 times and charged you for overdraw fee $24.- 8 times, even you don't have money anymore on your checking account and no call from the Bank to worn you. (happen to my daughter in Keys Federal Bank).  
Summary :
 Emails marketing it's flooding your box, nobody reading this, no way with this get some quality traffic and customers to your web site, except if you are selling some The Book "How make some millions from Home" or "hundred percent proof" weight loss products and nobody losing the weight.  
Companies with promise a thousand visitors - I don't know if those visitors going make some business for us. My message for them is: Show me hundreds buying visitors a month at my website  and then I am give you my credit card and pay you. Trial is spam, no risk for them, just me and  you have no chance cancel this trial with automated customer service. I made to many unsubscribe and still get emails from them.
Ad words - looks like just put big money with high Impressions for you  - No sales, because of recession, who knows?
What I know now, is this : online business is long term building business, when you have to learn from your mistakes, get at your own way customers who will refer you to their friend and who will come back to your website. No way make thousand dollars a month like many GURU promising at their e-books because if this really work, everybody is this country will be rich.
