AE3Q is Building a Better Mesa, Arizona

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 4, 2011 - AE3Q received the honor in the category of Architecture and Design, Redevelopment and Revitalization for their work helping Mesa families make their homes more energy efficient, healthy, comfortable and durable.  Mayor Smith established the program to recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions made to the community by Mesa residents and businesses.

While presenting the award to Melissa Debnar, one of AE3Q’s business owners, Mayor Smith said that AE3Q demonstrated outstanding contributions to Mesa’s redevelopment and revitalization through helping low-income families in the weatherization assistance program.

In addition to weatherization, AE3Q also offers comprehensive home performance check-ups through the electrical utilities, SRP and APS; as well as Home Energy Ratings (HERS) for energy efficient mortgages and Energy Star homes. Furthermore, AE3Q CEO Kirsten Shaw has prepared several of the Valley’s energy auditors for BPI Building Analyst certification as an instructor at several different local training centers.  She also trains auditors interested in becoming certified HERS Raters.
