Global Food Contact 2011 conference - date and venue announced!

Feb. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- In 2009, more than 100 packaging safety professionals from the whole supply chain from 23 different countries came together to share ideas, discuss regulatory developments in the packaging sphere and foster working relationships with international business leaders and legislators.

For 2011, Pira’s 5th edition of Global Food Contact will build on the success of 2009 and promises once again to assemble leading speakers and key industry figures to assess the critical issues that are affecting the food contact industry around the world.

The conference will be chaired once again by Nick Kernoghan, Pira International's UK Director, who will provide delegates with an update of the most critical developments in European food contact legislation – the Plastics Implementation Measure. Nick will also present an insight into the US, Japanese, Chinese and Latin American regulations, making this conference a truly global event- not to be missed for anyone in the food contact industry.
