Feb. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- For an article about a new battle brewing between major mattress brands, the New York Times contacted Jimi Breazeale, owner of Get-A-Mattress in Arroyo Grande, for his opinion last week.

The Times story appeared on the front page of the newspaper’s Business section and in the online edition on Tuesday, January 25.  It centered around mattress maker Sealy adopting technology that has been used by rival Simmons Mattress Corporation for decades.

Get-A-Mattress has become a well-known destination for the latest products and technology in the mattress business, as it has become the largest sleep store in the United States, carrying over 26 brands and offering 170 mattress to “test rest” in its large retail showroom.

Breazeale said in the New York Times interview that both Sealy and Simmons should beware some of the new mattress brands, which have “changed the way consumers think about mattresses”.
