The Lamplight Inn Bed and Breakfast Announces the 10,000 Tulip Extravaganza

Feb. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Berlin, Ohio – This coming spring, The Lamplight Inn Bed & Breakfast will once again participate in  the 10,000 Tulip Extravaganza. About 850 of the tulips to bloom will be pink.  In support of breast cancer research. This festive occasion is held annually in Berlin, Ohio.  The inn offers two acres of grounds to provide guests a heart-warming view of the thousands of tulips in beautiful colors.  

Guests entering The Lamplight Inn’s premises will be impressed with the combination of the innkeepers’ love for good music and beautiful flowers. The entrance displays a 16-foot musical note bedecked with pink tulips. Overnight guests are usually softly serenaded by the innkeeper himself as they sit down for a sumptuous country breakfast. Larry Wilgus’ talent in singing and his humor adds to a delightful way to start the day.

Although The Lamplight Inn is always ready to welcome guests all-year round, it is during spring that the town is alive in color.  The tulips are expected to go full bloom on Easter Sunday. These should remain vibrant until the end the middle of May. In the evenings, guests are offered a delicious combination of beverages and iced tulip cookies that match the real flowers’ colors just outside the inn. This treat is available during the entire three-week bloom period.
