Spa expert offers makeup tips

Feb. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- People looking to improve their appearance by enjoying beauty therapies or attempting their own makeup innovations may be interested to hear the advice of one beauty expert.

Research from Bobbi Brown recently revealed that many women in the UK feel that applying foundation correctly is a real issue for them, while others are concerned by lipstick overspill or eyeliner problems.

However, Paul Herrington, the firm's head of artistry, suggests people can improve their beauty product application by following a few careful steps.

He commented: "With eyeliner, you need to go from corner to corner. That's a real good guideline for eyeliner so it doesn't just stop halfway.

"What I teach people to [do] when applying [eyeliner] is not to pull the eye out and not to stretch the eye too much because often, when you let the skin go, it actually causes a run in the texture."

The expert added that women should only apply small amounts of lipstick and use a tissue to blot any excess they have used.
