Aromatic Fusion, Inc. has released to the market their new fragranced bio-polymers, which are both based on renewable feedstock materials, as well as biodegradable. These new materials are highly fragrant, can be injection molded or extruded into virtually any shape or used in pellet form, and give a controlled release of fragrance over time. All of these products are produced using Aromatic Fusions proprietary multiphase dispersion compounding technology, resulting in fragrance incorporation into plastic at lower temperatures than any other company on the market. Bio-polymers are plastics made from renewable material sources, using plants, corn, and other materials to make the plastic rather than petroleum. In typical plastics, petroleum is used as the base component. When using bio materials to create polymers, it is possible to create materials that are from renewable resources, or create materials that are both from renewable resources as well as biodegradable. These materials, when properly formulated can be used in most all traditional plastics forming applications.
