JustFoodERP Holds Food Industry Forum Real Issues Facing Food Companies

Feb. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Following food safety-related buzz in the media these days, the demands on food companies for proper record keeping are only going to increase. And learning how the Food Safety Modernization Act will affect food businesses is imperative.  Chatting with peers to see how they are preparing for the imminent retirement of baby-boomer owners and employees are among the reasons JustFoodERP is conducting the Food Industry Forum on February 22nd in Chicago.

Most of the record keeping challenges for food companies relate to inventory. Whether processing and/or distributing food, having best practices for inventory can only increase its visibility, a key component in keeping track of where it came from and then where it went. The forum will give food company executives a venue to learn how these and other real challenges can be dealt with the right combination of best practices and technology.
