Feb. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Haliburton, ON – February 2nd, 2011-   School’s Cool is proud to announce their selection to move on to Round 3, of the four round competition entitled: The Best Brilliant Ideas for Humanity. In Round 2 of the contest, contestants had to submit a business plan which was then reviewed by a panel of judges.  Only 25 contestants made it to Round 3 from over 200 applicants that span the globe.
In Round 3, contestants are required to write a mini-book on “How Our Idea Helps Humanity.”  School’s Cool must outline what the program does for people, how it will change lives and how it will help humanity.  The book is due February 24th and many of the 25 stories written for this Round will be compiled into a larger book which will be published, and will also become an Android App.  As this is a no voting round, a panel of experts will review each mini-book submitted and the top 5 contestants will be notified early in March.  Once the results are released Round 4 begins, which is an online voting round.
This is the final round before the judging whittles down to the final 5 Social Enterprises that will compete for the grand prize.
School’s Cool wants to level the playing field for children everywhere, and through direct involvement in a competition of this magnitude and reach, word is spreading about School’s Cool. This unique program accelerates the developmental skills of children by up to one year in just a few weeks! And there’s not just interest in School’s Cool in Canada – people from the U.S., China, Australia, Egypt and Pakistan have been asking about how to bring this flexible curriculum to those places.

School’s Cool is thankful to all of their supporters who took the time to vote in Round 1.  They also give credit to Matt Duchene of the Colorado Avalanche for appearing in a promotional video on behalf of School’s Cool. Over the past several weeks School’s Cool has worked diligently to spread the word about their kindergarten readiness program and thanks to voters across the world, they are in the group moving forward in this contest. President and CEO Gena Robertson states “We are overwhelmed by the response we’ve had. People from many different countries have watched our video and voted for School’s Cool and we are so grateful!  We’re looking forward to having them judge our condensed business plan during Round 2.”
Over the next five weeks School’s Cool will embark on Round 2.  The condensed business plan will be judged by the Best Brilliant Ideas for Humanity panel.  Only half of contestants will move forward to Round 3 based on 50% panel vote and 50% online votes.  “It’s about whether you can take your dream to reality-do you have the business acumen to bring this idea or product to the world.  And we can do it!” states Robertson.
